Actor Aamir Khan owns a two-storey apartment in Mumbai, which is reportedly worth Rs 2 crore. Interestingly, this apartment is two storeys below the flat he grew up in. According to reports, the actor plans to renovate the 5000 Sq. ft. apartment and make it into a 20,000 sq. ft. mansion. Aamir also owns a 100-year old farmhouse in Panchgani, which is quite a lavish property with a huge landscaped garden. The actor keeps visiting this 2-acre house that he bought on his 11th wedding anniversary with wife Kiran Rao, in 2016. The actor is said to host many parties at his Panchgani holiday home. Apart from this, Aamir has also bought about 20 houses in his native village in Uttar Pradesh.
Ajay Devgn is currently living in Juhu (Mumbai) and his bungalow is called Shiv Shakti. Apart from that, Devgn also owns another bungalow in Malgari Road in the city, which the actor often visits when he wishes to spend some alone time. Actor Amitabh Bachchan’s Juhu bungalow — Jalsa — a 10,125 Sq. ft. double-storied house, is nothing short of a pilgrimage for his fans, who gather around the house every Sunday. And the actor obliges, and waves at them. The actor also bought a piece of land behind Jalsa, and the common wall between the two bungalows has been demolished. While Amitabh has been living in Jalsa for many years now, it was Prateeksha, which he calls a tribute to his parents, where the actor lived for 40 years along with parents Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan, and his own family including wife Jaya, son Abhishek and daughter Shweta. Apart from these two bungalows, the 74-year-old also owns an apartment worth Rs 1.75 crore and a house in Bhopal, which he bought while he was shooting for Satyagraha. Hrithik is reportedly paying a rent of Rs 6.5 lakh for this flat.
Actor Alia Bhatt’s new pad, which she shares with sister Shaheen, is nothing short of a dream home. With subtle yet elegant interiors and a colour theme to soothe your senses, Alia shifted to this new house in Mumbai’s Juhu suburb, in October 2016. Located near her parents’ residence, the house has been designed by filmmaker Vikas Bahl’s wife, Richa Bahl, and is away from the Bollywood glitz and glamour. Rather, Alia didn’t want the interiors to be modern at all and opted for old New York-ish decor with white walls, comfortable sofas, concrete-tiled floors and expansive windows with a view of Mumbai’s tropical trees. While the four bedrooms were reconfigured to three, it’s interesting that Alia has kept her dressing room as a separate space from the house to ensure it remains private. The pad has a special tea bar that was made for the Bhatt sisters, who are known to be obsessed with tea.
